Hey, I’m Viv. I work as a Solutions Architect by day, but I’ve spent most of my life building software, from early prototypes that never left my laptop to production systems serving millions. Over the past 15 years, I’ve moved from writing code to shaping architecture, working with everything from startups to global enterprises, and currently helping teams across the UK and Europe build better systems with observability at the core.

This site is where I write, think out loud, and share what I’m working on.

Most of my side projects come from real needs in my life like tracking food deliveries, scheduling dog daycare visits, logging voice journals, or making sense of booking emails. I enjoy building tools that solve boring problems quietly. I care a lot about clean architecture, maintainable code, and making things that feel fast, useful, and human. Lately, AI is helping me a lot.

I’m also deeply into automation and self-hosting, and you’ll often find me experimenting in coding, breaking containers on my NAS, or running useless workflows through n8n.

If you like building tools, solving messy problems, or just want to geek out over something, feel free to say hi.
